Mechanism of action and indications

Feather Desensitiser is used to treat dental hypersensitivity. Tooth hypersensitivity is caused by changes in fluid flow pressure in the dentinal tubules in the pulp cavity. Feather Desensitiser precipitates proteins and seals the dentinal tubules through the dentinal tubules, reducing the permeability of the dentinal tubules and playing a desensitizing role, thus achieving Feather Desensitiser is used for: Feather Desensitiser is also used for dental desensitization.

This product is only recommended when teeth react with severe pain to cold, hot, sour, sweet or contact stimuli. In the case of moderate pain, alternative methods such as desensitizing toothpaste are recommended.

Clean the teeth (e.g. with polishing toothpaste, using a local anesthetic if necessary) and rinse with water.

Protect the mucous membranes of the mouth with a rubber barrier to ensure that Gruma Desensitiser only touches the area to be treated.

Apply the smallest amount of Gruma Desensitiser to the sensitized tooth surface with a sponge or degreasing brush and leave it on for 30 to 60 seconds.

Carefully blow the tooth surface with an air gun so that the liquid film disappears and the tooth surface is no longer shiny.
